Your seat gets tacked on and does not require any form of sticks. The seat usually tacks onto the underside of the chair. You will need a cloth measuring tape and place it onto the chair just as the seat would be placed. With the chair fully open and the braces locked in place, measuring from where one end of the seat will tack on all the way across to where the other end of the seat will tack on. This will let you know what width the seat needs to be. When ordering your director chair seats, select either round or flat stick from the "Choose Stick Type" drop-down menu—it does not matter which one. In the "Do You Need Sticks Included" menu, select "No." For the required "Enter Seat Loop (Inches)" field, enter 1. This tells us to make a 1" seat loop, providing an inch-wide section of doubled fabric that will reinforce the tacks used to attach your new director chair covers to the frame. This helps prevent future tears from the tacks and provides a more secure seat.
