The flat stick design for director's chairs is an older-outdated design that companies making director's chairs today no longer use. This makes them harder to find since the they are no longer making the cover sets that go with them. Pier One was an exception to this as they made the flat stick style of director's chairs until they closed all of their physical stores and no longer offered director's chairs.
