While you can use these canvas director's chair replacement covers for outdoor chairs, it is not what we would recommend. Canvas is great for indoor chairs and chairs that will be away from the sun, but exposure to the outdoor elements will cause the color to drastically fade and the material to weaken and fail. We offer 2 other types of fabric that are great for outdoor use and either of them would be our recommendation over canvas. These are our Sunbrella® and Phifertex Plus Mesh director's chair cover sets.
