To measure a director chair cover, first remove the seat and back from the chair frame. Lay them out completely flat and measure the width and depth of the seat, as well as the width and height of the backrest from edge to edge. Check the seat to determine the stick type as this is how the seat will fasten to your chair. It will either be a small round dowel (round stick), a small flat rectangle (flat stick), or possibly even tacked on. Compare the determined measurements with the measurements we have listed on this item to know if these will fit the chair frame correctly. Very slight differences will be ok, but any differences over a quarter inch may not work.
