The back for both the flat stick and the round stick cover sets measures 6 1/2 inches in height by 21 1/2 inches in width with 2.5 inch loops. Measurements are determined from measuring edge to edge with the back laid out completely flat. The loops are the pockets that the back posts of the chair will go through. The measurement for those is determined from measuring from the edge of the fabric to the first stitch line closest to the fabrics edge.
